Elizabeth - 7 signature, nature theme junk journal with 252+ pages.
This 7 signature junk journal has lots of writing spaces, tuck spots, pockets, tags and journal cards. Many of the tags and journal cards have lovely collage art and some sewing. Some of the corner pockets are made from book pages. Lots of sewing in this journal. Lots of laces, trims, some charms. 
Each signature holds at least 9 pages for a total of 252+ pages (writing surfaces). Made with the hollow-back method, she lays flat when opened up.
The pages within the book consist of coffee stained pages, vintage book pages, some 'digital stamping' on some of the pages and the middle signatures have digital copies of JJ Audubon bird paintings from a large format book, out of copyright that I own. Some pages of colored graph paper, some antique ledger paper, etc.
The first page of each signature has lace sewn on and lace or fabric snippets have been added on sides and tops of other pages within. The bottom of each first page has lace as well. A lace headband on top and bottom of spine too. Some hidden pictures and messages can be found within.
The book cover has been painted, crackled, stained to look like painted, crackled and stained wood. Front cover has a beautiful raised emblem made with texture medium. The cover has been sealed.
This will be a beautiful addition to your home décor. An eclectic collection of ephemera within.
Front and back inside covers have recycled, collaged window envelopes for tuck spots with a vintage photo of a sweet little girl (I named Elizabeth) in front cover and large layaway tag with flower collage inside window envelope inside back cover.
Dimensions of the book: 9 1/8" x 5 3/4" with a 2 1/4" spine.

Prayer Journal from antique German religious book - 6 signatures and 216 pages
This is a precious, little prayer junk journal. The cover is from a very old, circa late 1800s to early 1900s. The inside of the cover has been reinforced with canvas material that has been painted black at the spine area to match the cover. The outer cover has been reinforced with twill tape in two places. The book block of 6 signatures has been sewn into a muslin fabric.
Lots of writing space throughout. Journal cards throughout as well. Some sewing, some lace, A mixture of charms, buttons, religious medals adorn the signature ties. A page spread from the original book is included in each signature and adds a rustic look and feel to the outer edge of the journal.
Dimensions are approximately 5 1/4" x 3 1/4" with 1 1/8" spine.

This Circus theme journal was so much fun to make.
It has 5 shaped signatures sewn with 5 hole pamphlet stitch, then stained strips of muslin was threaded through the stitches and then glued on to front and back inside covers. Then more stained fabric strips are glued on to the outside of those strips and the outside covers.
The shape of the journal is the shape of a circus tent, so when the journal is opened up on top of a table, it has the look of a circus tent!! Complete with circus flag!!
Very eclectic and grungy.
Some sewing on the cover pages, anchor pages within and some of the inside signature pages.
Anchor pages and some of the other pages within are cardstock, to give the book substance.
There are pockets, journal cards and some fun interactive elements inside too. Just enough writing space to allow the new owner to write his/her own fun memories of yesterday's circus fun.

This beauty is 9.5" x 6.75" with a 2" heavy cloth spine. The original book cover is a beautiful light, soft green with dark corners. A photograph of a young lady adorns the front cover. My husband named her Anastasia. The outer cover has been embellished with laces, buttons and die cuts. A double sari silk tie helps keep the book securely closed.
There are 4 signatures with 13 pages each for 208+ pages, front and back. Anastasia is packed full of original ephemera and extra writing spaces.
Book pages, ledger pages, coffee stained papers, etc. Lots of space for writing. Front and back inside covers have pockets, tuck spots filled with ephemera, Tags, writing cards, etc.
Nature images, paintings of plants, florals, birds, etc.
The spine is made from a thick, strong blue and white ticking fabric. Original spine was not in good shape. The signatures have been sewn in to the spine fabric with a 5 hole pamphlet stitch.
The other spine is covered with cotton fabric and lace and 5 dark buttons are sewn on.
Front and back inside covers have extra storage. The front has a large manila envelop from the 1940s for extra storage and the back has an old photograph tri-fold for extra tuck spots. Lots of sewing on pages, tags, cards.

Vintage Ledger junk journal with 4 signatures, 208+ pages (mainly ledger pages) tags, ephemera, fun tuck spots, and a 'policy-like' storage area in the back inside cover.
Dimensions are 12" tall and almost 7 1/2" wide with 2" spine. Signatures are sewn through the hard, fabric covered spine. Spine cloth is glued on to the ledger book boards and brass paper fasteners are installed through punched holes in book boards at spine area. This makes the new spine very secure and lasting.
Tons of vintage ephemera from my collection within the junk journal AND more included in a vintage large format envelope.
Lots of writing space inside! Lots of handwritten ledger pages. You can cover the ledger pages with plain paper to add to writing space OR tear out the pages to use in collage art, etc.
